Hey guys! Been on this forum for awhile just looking at bits and pieces ( love the forum! ) and thought im not worthy enough to write on the forums till I actually own an XRT.

So the time has come and last night I got one =D!!! It's my 2nd car and first ever turbo. All I can say is my god this car gets me toey!

Bought a 2011 FG XR6 Turbo. - Winter white - 100km on the clock and $35,000. ( Had hail damge so they reduced the price but fixed it )

haha Rip, yeah when I was first looking at the car I thought they were hideous but im content to leave them on until I finish doing other things with the car. im turning 30 in a few months and my tastes have changed massively the past 5-8years with cars. I was all "gonna get 20's and dump it and big aftermarket stereo" now I want 19's but they must be something Ford released on their cars, just some better quality speakers and I want the car to look as stock as possible haha.

I'm kinda the same. I would like to start again on mine and have it look more stock under the hood etc. My mate got similar power with hardly any mods. I talked him into doing it how I would the second time around and it came out real nice.

Stock exhaust with gutted cat and lagged dump and cat

42lb injectors

pump

$17.50 10lb actuator

Ported waste-gate

PW crossover pipe

Standard intake box with back half of aluminium crossover only. Re-painted.

HDi cooler

Electronic boost controller

HP tuners tune

With those few mods we netted well over 300kw and it sounded almost stock.

Looks great too, just tinted and de-badged.

Total cost was around $1500 plus the tune since we did all the work ourselves.

Hi Everyone

I'm Ben. I live in perth. Recently just bought my xr6t loving it, better then the Expensive Daewoo I used to drive that's for sure.

Would like to join cruises and meet up days, so I can get to know all from perth and get some more insight into modding

from experienced guys that have done it.
