Newbie here. I've a FG XR6T Ute.

Just had the 3k Ford "piece of mind" service - I asked them what the engine 'stutter' on start up was (this has developed on start up and ceases a few seconds later) - Ford dealer said it was a common fault with no fix as yet - they checked the vehicle has the latest software installed and it does.

It begs the question - if the FG has been out for about two years then how come Ford haven't come up with a fix?

Any pointers would be much appreciated. Also what basic mods are recommended that don't void a warranty. Or do all mods void warranty?

I noticed it once or twice from the tank the dealer filled up but I haven't noticed it since I filled up with 98 RON.

Yep, coppers use the extra battery so they can leave the radio/lights and stuff going without worrying about flattening the main battery.

Hey everyone. Came across the site lookin up info on fg turbo. Been longtime ford fan brought a ba xrt sedan back in 03 . Recently picked up a fg turbo ute , just had custom tune done made 292 rwkw and 840 nm of torque on 16psi with only a ss inductions cai . Awsome cars with so much potential for huge power . Love the site. Keep up the good work(-:(-:!!!!!!
