I rode 1000cc road bikes at that age and still ride them like a nut. Now 38, rather him than a drunk or junkie driving, just spray your cooler like others have said. Don't know 1 person on this forum young or OLD who does not boot there car.

Dude my advice is get a sensible daily, keep the turbo in the shed and look after it and save some coin because in the end it will be worth it, rather than be eager beaver and end up in a deep pile of sh*t because turbo or not, you won't be so cool when your mates are all still driving their corollas and you are walking with a massive debt to SPER and a record. That stays with you longer than your mates will care or remember you got a turbo first.Good luck with it all

Damn your just asking to be caught and if or when you do it probably wont be worth it.Yeah black paint will be fine and is the least of your worries lol

I have PW cooler in black, you can hardly see it behind the G6E lower grill. Very stealth.

1600dave Donating Members 872 Member For: 13y 10m 19d Posted 05/03/12 07:43 AM Share Posted 05/03/12 07:43 AM ah yep, was just thinking could cause you some problems if it had the vic plates still.I cant really comment much I had a GSXR600 on my bike L's (22 at the time so only 3 months min on L's then no plates but restricted for 12months)It had more power (alot) but also handled and stopped alot better than any of the learner bikes at the time.Got stung on it twice in vic, one was just random pullover, the other was breath test station. Both times were 3 points and ~$330ish fine for riding the unrestricted bike, plus another ~$140ish I think for no L plate (no L is cheaper than no P plate and no points)Kid at work also had an XR6T sedan few years ago, got rid of the turbo badge, had p's on it, stock rims and springs, no dark tint or big stereo, he had no trouble. The previous owner installed a sub, a few extra speakers and an amp but I always have it switched off cos the sub sounds like sh*t anyway. But its sitting on 19 inch dark argents that im trying to offload cos I reckon they'll draw attention. Never had any say Panda I <3 Floods Silver Donating Members 11,198 Member For: 13y 3m 28d Gender: Male Location: South West QLD Posted 05/03/12 09:42 AM Share Posted 05/03/12 09:42 AM If you're gonna go ahead with this paint it black idea, I'm with above people and a lower grill insert is a must! You need to also put something shiny on the front of the grill (chrome XR6 badge or something) this will bring anyone's focus onto the actual grill and not what lies behind it.
