Mate most people obey the law to some degree. Having the immature "I am above the law" crap is only going to end in trouble.

There are way to many P platers that thought the same as you and are now dead or have killed someone.

I would park it or sell it, until you have done your time, as cops are not dumb and will pull you over just because you are a P plater in a car known to be a turbo.

Grow up and realise the laws are there to protect EVERYONE, it is not about you.

Mate the problem of the matter really is that if you're driving a turbo car on your P's you're probably not covered by any insurances including compulsory third party.. I'm not gonna swear at you or call you names but you wanna think mighty bloody hard about it before you go do something that might risk anyone else's life or property!!

Im with you mate, If you didnt want to be ripped a new one you should not have put in that your on your P's....Rules are there for a reason. Not to piss of motorist rather save them from people who have more money then sense....

I don't think I'm above the law but I wanted a turbo and worked hard to get the money to buy itso I feel I deserve it. I never hoon, speed or spin the wheels on public roads, and only done it one or twice on a mates property. So if you've ever sped or had a beer and gone for a drive you're endangering yourself and others far more than I am. The fact that I have a turbo doesn't mean I speed round every corner on boost nearly taking people out in the process, this car gets driven like a n/a.

And I got a turbo cos its my money and can spend it on whatever the fck I want and these sh*tty laws try....…

Also if you're in a state that makes P plates mandatory be warned that all modern cop cars have license plate recognition cameras. They can rego scan and see exactly what sort of car it is regardless of whether it's been debadged.. Don't ever think cops or laws are stupid.

Your statement above makes you sound like a kid who thinks he can go buy a kilo of cocaine just cause you got the money and can do whatever the f*ck you want..

. More money than sense? I'm on apprentice mechanic wages so if you have any idea you'd know the money didn't come in a day.

Buy a A to B car and bite the bullet untill you get your blacks.

It's almost certain these days that you will get caught, the technology available to the Police isn't going to be fooled. You're also running the gauntlet that you won't get pulled over for rbt?

It's stupid and not worth it.

Last time I checked (in NSW), it's 7 demerits and 1700 fine. Then you'll likely have to wait a good 6 months to proceed to your full license, let alone the impact it will have on your record and loan/insurance eligability.

And that's just for the prohibited vehicle, let alone not displaying P Plates.

Just suck it up and wait like everyone else.

Spam control on new members..

Next time you see your old woman.. Slap her for me.. Seriously mate I don't give a flying sh*t you wanna drive a turbo car.. We've all been your age. And yes we were all also 'saints' and never drove over 2000 rpm *wink wink*..

I'm just expressing concerns for your family and the family of the other car involved if you have any form of a 'testosterone moment' and are involved in an accident without even CTP insurance!!!!

Shouldn't you ladies be painting your nails or snuggling up to your boyfriends right now?

It's a stock T, it's not a loaded gun. Most of us didn't fall under these exemptions and have had powerful cars since we were young. I brought my first turbo at 18.

Guess what, still alive. And haven't killed anyone. Same goes for most of my friends.

Now get the f*ck of your high horses and simply tell the bloke, painting the cooler is fine.
