I have two sub woofers and sub box which I had in one of my old cars (over 2 years ago) and I would love to get them installed in my XR6t.

I am looking for someone on this forum who knows there stuff about audio installations who can help me fit them.

Places like JB HiFi charge a fortune and don't install second hand products.

I am happy to pay someone to install these subs for me... Or perhaps buy booze!

If anyone is interested or know of somebody who is interested in the job, please let me know.

I also have a monoblock for the subs, but nothing else. I'll need help with purchasing the correct equipment (cables, leads, looms, etc) too.

I got a headunit, sub and amp installed in my car through jb hi fi high point about 3 weeks ago. Cost me around $100. The bloke that does it subcontracts so he'll do just about anything. I owned most of my gear already. Just give em a call.

Which guy installed it?

I booked in to get a head unit installed in my old car and when the guy did it he cracked the craps because it was an old product and was going to have a stern word with the person that booked me in. None the less he did it, but mentioned that he did this once for someone and the old head unit didnt work and had to buy this person a new head unit. If you buy a head unit new from autobarn or where ever but want jb to fit it they will do it as the head unit would still be under warranty and will be able to get it replaced. My sunwoofers and monoblock for a good 6 years old but have been in active for 2-3 of those years.

Edit: Removed my question of which jb hifi as you did mention it was high point. High point is reasonably close to me so that's a bonus.

Do you just want subs running off of the standard sound system max? Or are you installing an aftermarket headunit?

Happy to help, MAXout. I do all my own installs and do mate's ones relatively cheap (in comparison to other places). With the B-Series, as TRA1NR said, you have to choose whether you are running off an aftermarket headunit (better choice, but you lose all functionality of the stock units sound output) or are running off the standard system (with the standard system, you need a line level convertor and be prepared to live with some alternator whine).

2nd issue is how big your amplifiers (good mounting positions can be hard to find with massive equipment) are and how big your sub-box is, as the sides/edges of the b-series boot isn't great for mounting any generic-type sub-box, but if you don't mind compromising space in the boot, then any massive box will fit, as the boot is quite massive.
