Hi all, found this 1/4 mile calculator on the net - seems pretty accurate but doesn't take into account if the car is FWD/4WD/RWD.

Just need to divide your car weight by 0.454 to convert to pounds.

Nah, it's not accurate. These cars get 12 sec 1/4's stock and even at 320 rwkw it's telling me I'll only run a 13.45 :huh:

really? it told me I would do a 12.9 with 257rwkw for 1720kg. You need to convert from kw to hp also. Divide by 0.746.

A turbo car will always have higher MPH than then the same power V8.

So it's a little flawed.

A mate I came up with this one many years ago but like any Calculator it doesnt work for everyone and we had a lot of haters!

Anyways I think this one is closer to the mark than the robrobinette one!

This is calculator only accounts for street tyres too so if you used MT's or Slicks then obviously your ET would be quicker!

What car do you have? 1720kg WITH driver????
