Atleast cut the arse out of the battery and have the pod in there. Then just run ducting up to it, your obviously prepared to make a hole through the battery tray. Seems a lot of piping still to run it that way then down to fog light. A few bends also.

Tell me your real battery isnt on passenger side...

I think the diameter of the pipe and where it gets it's air from is the most important thing. Think about how long the standard piping is.

Battery is under tray (It's a ute)

Lol good iidea but can't beat an airbox and pipe off the turbo set up why not just do that it would be easier and prob more performance gains???

exactly, so your doing this for no gain over standard

there will be a gain as long as the cross over has been removed completely and there are no other restrictions.

If the rest of the piping is stock there will be a bit more flow as far as the filter is concerned however it may not necesarily improve response.
