Depends on power, single 3 is a bit small. Gas has cooled a bit as it get down there though. Wouldnt want that over 300rwkw

3.5" would be plenty and has better clearance than 4" 3" will hurt you @ 350rwkw

where does the system merge from twin to single 3"? if the muffler are 3" you may be better off selling it and buying a decent system

You have a problem there. If I remember rightly, the insides of that muffler will have a single 76mm pipe somewhere in it as well so changing the outside bit - the "over the diff" section will not help. Cutting mufflers and fiddling with the inside is a tough job without the right sort of gear - and may not do much at all other than add noise.

For 350 RWKW the general consensus is a single 90 MM or twin 63.

IMO - and sorry to say - classifieds might be where it will need to go.
