They'll handle as much as your willing to be sympathetic to them. If ya belting them constantly at the track a single day can kill them if you don't give them time to cool down, same with a big session on the dyno. The stock stuff doesnt really have much of a chance once ya really get into it but that's not really a fair judgement on it. We snapped a heat treated one on the dyn oof all things but 935rwhp at 4000rpm will do that lol.

My solution to making it survive some type of torture is never boot it in auto mods always preselect manual mode so theres no violent kickdown, we've also kept our street tune to 700hp on lowish boost & not have it too aggressive. When we do go to the track only do big powerruns every second lap so it gives it a chance to cool down. The drags we'll run about 800hp on e85 which it makes on about 22psi so not too violent but we're toying with diff gears & exhaust housing to make it forgiving as possible off the line & make it so we only use 4th in the topend, dont want to be smashing intermediates & higher gears too often. As for dyno let it rip & if it survives we'll half our luck lol. Its at the workshop already so not far to push it lol.

Our zf tuning is very minimal as well, some basic clamp pressures & stop the thud down from 2nd to 1st. I figure why fix what really isnt broken???
