If I was building a big hp car (500+) then either a TH400 or glide would be my choice. However, what both of them do though is take the car away from being a nice tourer. Some sort of economy (on cruise) and driveability all but gone. So imo if you can make the ZF solid, and we can, it gives much more flexibility. If you want an all out animal and that isn't a high percentage of people on here, then yeah, go the other options. Good luck with it mate.

Yep and veva had 450rwkw and 285's if I remember correctly. Stick with the ZF mate. The ZF haters, especially say those that never had a tune done and have gone back to manual, should maybe talk about 'clutch' options that they'll need to worry about should they actually ever get a performance tune done to their car.

haha hes had enough

so my auto needs to be opened up, 2nd to 3rd clutches are rooted.

Apparently the auto has been gettin too hot, pretty piss poor considering its only done 13,000k's since the full rebuild

Dyno runs arnt very forgiving on transmissions, I like to have my car running and the fan on for a while to cool it down before shutting down. A decent trans cooler is a must also.

Il be doing the tranz cooler this time, as for the tunes its had, the dyno tuner always let the car cool down between runs.

Just another obstacle lol
