possum Donating Members 553 Member For: 15y 7m 26d Gender: Male Posted 01/03/12 09:48 AM Share Posted 01/03/12 09:48 AM (edited) built zf generally involves fitting more GENUINE zf clutches, they aren't any aftermarket options that I'm aware of and a billet or hardened input shaftas mentioned previously they're a few cars out there running in excess of 500rwkw with no problems. nizpros fg ute (430rwkw) ran 10.89@132mph with a 100% standard non tuned zf.now that people can tune them means they can get firmer shifts etc.... but don't forget that means they can also get it WRONG and break excessive thingsRIKi83 is the only person I've heard of breaking anything other than an input shaft, maybe QIK1 has also but he is really pushing big power.I believe from what I have seen that the ZF 6 speed is a very good gearbox and hope that in the very near future we will have one running consistent 9 second passes Edited 01/03/12 09:49 AM by possum Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Stick with the ZF mate.
