built zf generally involves fitting more GENUINE zf clutches, they aren't any aftermarket options that I'm aware of and a billet or hardened input shaft

as mentioned previously they're a few cars out there running in excess of 500rwkw with no problems. nizpros fg ute (430rwkw) ran 10.89@132mph with a 100% standard non tuned zf.

now that people can tune them means they can get firmer shifts etc.... but don't forget that means they can also get it WRONG and break excessive things

RIKi83 is the only person I've heard of breaking anything other than an input shaft, maybe QIK1 has also but he is really pushing big power.

I believe from what I have seen that the ZF 6 speed is a very good gearbox and hope that in the very near future we will have one running consistent 9 second passes

Yep and veva had 450rwkw and 285's if I remember correctly. Stick with the ZF mate. The ZF haters, especially say those that never had a tune done and have gone back to manual, should maybe talk about 'clutch' options that they'll need to worry about should they actually ever get a performance tune done to their car.
