Similar initial symtoms like yours, felt like slight surge at around 4k and then got progressivly worse over the next week until it got to the stage of doing it lower in the rpm range and cleary missing under load.Ended up being coil packs even though a resistence test put them within spec.

Hey guys. Just thought I would update this. Turns out 2 coil packs were almost dead and the gap in my plugs were off.

Bought new coils and Plugs from super cheap and the car ran worse! Misfired beond beliefe after 4000 rpm. Changed back to old plugs and she ran much better. Turns out that they have me standard ba plugs with a 1.3mm gap when I need .8mm. All sorted now!

Thanks for you advise guys! Much appreciated!

You can't run one of these things modified and stretch pennies IMO, they aren't a cheap car to run once modified... Especially a BA, trust me I know..
