Hey guys,

I have recently upgraded my H4s & H11s to 6000k HIDs and H7's to the 5000k Phillips (cant remember the name).

As for the parkers I did jump in and get a cheap 10 pack of T10 LEDs and I'm not to happy with the light output.

Now looking at the T10 leds, I see there are heaps of different types, more particularly the varying SMD's. Is there a specific design or optimum SMD I should go for?

Cheers,

Gaz

I also got the 10 pack, on each light I think it has 5 LED's that light up, but I also bought 2 that have 9 LED's that light up, they would be much brighter than the one Dre linked to, they are more expensive,$12 for 2 but they are from australia. Im still waiting for my 10 pack to arrive its been nearly 2 weeks FFS!!

Maybe try those out?

Just bought those cheap ones that come in 4 different colours. Didn't cost much so I wasn't to fussed.

I have been looking at the 9 SMD ones, but wanted to get some clarification before diving in the deep end again haha. I'll check out the HID thread again and try and find Dre's link.

I checked the interior leds on the way to work this morning and they are all 9 SMD's as well, light bluish colour. I'd take some pics, but hard to see what they actually look like with the camera on the phone.

I too purchased 2 lots of the 10 packs, 1x white and 1x blue.

White doesn't seem to be very bright, barely illuminates the numberplate, whereas I have seen pictures of FGs with T10s that light the plate up like a flood light.

Can anyone recommend which are the brightest avail?

Who's tested any other than the cheapo 10 packs?

They all seem pretty cheap , couple dollars for packs of 2, seen 48 smd, 9 smd, 5 smd etc etc
