I was lucky enough to have one of each, now I drive a manual.People have fitted external coolers without dramas and an external cooler will eliminate the problem completely.Much better option IMO so your not throwing good money after bad and still have every chance in the world your expensive gearbox will be destroyed. I will now be writing a letter to ford head office with a copy of my repair bill to show them what their poorly designed Chinese part did to my gearbox and what it cost me to fix.
