The better tyres have a deeper rumble and less likely to be picked up as well by your ear.For two to three hungy your not going to get something that stays quite. It will get noisier as the tyres wears usually.For your price bracket look at the Maxxi's, Nexen 8000, and the Kuhmo K19's. The yokie 245's????? are in that bracket and not too bad either.None of these have exceptional grip. I am just amazed at the quietness compared to Dunlops. They feel MUCH softer on road surface. They are slightly more nervous at straight ahead position when driving, but turn, grip and brake much better.
