I just got some Michelins from Tirerack and the shipping was $280 to Clayton VIC, so I would say it should be around the same. Should end up costing about $320 fitted. In sure any local tyre shop these tyres will be $450.

Guest XR09 Guests Posted 27/02/12 04:18 AM Share Posted 27/02/12 04:18 AM (edited) F1's are the best thing I have had on my car. But cant justify the cost every 8 to 10 thousand K's. Might get more out of them now I am not working and doing track days ???? but only little more I would say.I use the Kumho K31's, but have found them to be very noisy compared to the dearer tyres.I had Nexen 8000's and they are quite but absolutely hopeless for grip.If I could find the grip of the Goodyears with the quiteness of the Nexens @ the price of the K31's, I would buy it. SO Much quieter!; They feel really soft. Suspect will not last but grip levels way improved over dunlops,--which to be fair I had no complaints with. milage of tyre not my primary concern-rather the feel and driving experience and these tyres deliver.5 star rating. dunlops 4 star.(car FG F6). Of interest last car BF typhoon and same dunlops as original on FG. On the newer car the dulops are a much better tyre than on the BF, despite being as I understand it the same tyre, just goes to show the improvements of the FGps. dual post (in quietest tyre)

Lifetime Members 7,935 Member For: 20y 9m 14d Gender: Male Location: Sydney Posted 29/02/12 09:55 AM Share Posted 29/02/12 09:55 AM The series 2 F1's have started to be made in China, yet they still charge German prices. This si why I decided to go the Falken.Road noise is no worse, traction is also as good, so at over $100 per corner cheaper than the F1's it was a no brainer. TER80D Donating Members 48 Member For: 13y 4m 20d Posted 29/02/12 12:53 PM Share Posted 29/02/12 12:53 PM I went with Falken 452's in 245/35/19 and they were a massive improvement over the factory Dunlops. Very very good grip for the price, got them wholesale for $280 a corner and really can't complain. Noise isn't exactly the best in the world but is far from the worst. I think you're going to get plenty of noise from a low profile tyre no matter what the brand. I have only had them for about 4,000 k's and they are wearing quite nicely and were my only other choice apart from the F1's
