Carpet wise we've dried that out and thankfully there is no smell so will keep an eye on that. Is there anything else I should get checked? The water level was a bit under my headlights. All the electrics are working fine. Then on the way home we hit a big pot hole and cracked a wheel. They were just some cheap wheels I think so will buy a new set. I'm in the northern beaches area in sydney, are there any decent, reasonably priced shops around?Hoping not to spend much money on new gear. I just got 2 new tyres literally 2 weeks ago so hoping I can get a new set of 18" wheels and get re-fitted?Cheers or any advice,Damo

Check all your electrical connections inside the car, everything may be working now but as they start to corrode you wont be happy. water will get in everywhere. Insurance companies will usually write it off if the water comes over the sills and into the car.

If you're gonna drive it I'd be checking under the car.. CV's and stuff aren't designed to be submerged.

They'll send it off for an assessment and more than likely just write it off unless, miraculously, there is no damage.
