Any of you guys owning a FG have any comments on the smaller pulley for the superchargers once you have had them installed and are they worth putting on?

Thinking of getting one for the Mystic when I get it tuned.

Also, what is the ideal air/fuel ratio for these drive trains as Ford have de-tuned these beasts to buggery. :dontknow:

Cheers,

Al

Definitely do it.

Castle hill tuned a Fg gt to 439rwkw with pulley, injectors, cooler and tune. Stock exhaust.

But which small pulley option is the best to go with? Just a smaller blower pulley like KPM or the smaller blower pulley and engine overdrive pulley like Herrods are using? I'm trying to understand what is the max rpm the blower should be operated at efficiently.

I'd definately change the cats before tune. I've recently seen a S/C GS engine killed at 4.5k's by a melted cat. This would be even more of an issue if you start turning the blower harder.

The one making 439 had an untouched stock exhaust.

The worst bit is it ran 11.5.....Manual.

In the pics it looked like they changed two pulleys.
