Gday guys,

Just wondering if anyone has had any experience with the Bendix 'Street Road Track' pads.

Picking up my new hooks this arvo, DBA 4000 slotted all round with these pads and will fit to my PBR brakes tonight.

Does anyone know what I can expect?

Cheers

I've used them and thought they were great in my PBR's. They are a bit sqeally at 1st but that goes away and they pump out a lot of dust too.

I did a track day not too long ago and had no problems with brake fade or anything which was surprising.

Expect too change your rotors @ the next pad change. The Bendix SRT are hard as fark and will decimate your rotors

I wouldn't say they were as hard as some track pads but they definitely give your rotors a hard time. My don't seem too bad atm though.

I downsized mine to 298mm dba4000 slotted and have fitted SRT pads in pbr calipers. Cant really comment on performance as yet as am having abs niggles atm.

Paid $300 for pads alone but if they gunna destroy my rotors ill rip the *beep* out now. What else people recommend? Was just after best performance for straight line braking, as downsized to fit 15" rims on. Car wont see any curcuit work.

What abs niggles are you having? I've got a few too and was hoping the change up may help it.

I paid around the same too, would rather go for something else if they are too hard.

I've always used Bendix Ultimates and never had a problem, bit dusty though.. I paid $125 for a set for std BA brakes, with DBA rotors..

If you're going to pay $300 for pads go for Ferodo DS2500. Awesome pad whether cold or hot. The hotter they get the better they get. I have tracked them at Eastern Creek and cannot fault them.

Never use bendix ultra premiums - total rubbish. Killed them at powerplay on Saturday. Pulled them out last night to have a look and both the inners were cracked through the middle. Scrubbed up my low k OEM's and refitted them for now.
