I use Transmax Z 4.4L and SAF-XA in the diff. Both are fully synthetic. Definitely change the diff oil.

About 75 for 4LT of transmax and $20 for 1LT of SAF-XA diff oil.

If I keep doing so many k's in such short amount of time is it ok to only change the engine oil every 15k.

At work we service ALL our cars at 10k intervals regardless of kms.

At Tafe they say Turbocharged and Supercharged vehicles Should never be taken beyond 10k for a service/ oil change and in particular diesels.

I change my oils every 6 months or 7500ks.

Normally ends up being 6 months and 5500kms

so good to hear people taking good care of their cars. change the oil every 7500 regaurdless of how quickly you do the kms, unless youre doing long and fast freeway runs everyday around 100kms or more?. the thing that wares out the diff/boxoil is being under heavy load, ex. my parents landcruiser ill only change the gearbox oil every 75-100000kms because the car gets babeyd so much it doesnt need it (unless I take it upto its windows in water haha) but my ute which getsa good thrashing and does mostly city kms under constant high load I change it regularly. so if you absolutly tharsh it every day id do it every 15k, if you have more restraint than me and can manage to drive the thing semi normally then 30k, if you drive like a old woman then 50k, but im guessing if you have chewd a set of diff bushes already then ull be doing it every 15 ;) haha

cheers, andy

just make sure the diff filler plug opens befour you drain it, as a mechanic its something that's cought me out in the past haha. being a ford it should be ok, normally that's just nissan, toyota and mitsubishi that get stuck.
