got my bushes changed out today. had to redo roadworthy at a *cough* Ford dealership. told me centre bush was flogged, I hesitantly said I would change out the other 2 while they had the cradle out. I asked about getting aftermarket ones thrown in and they gave me a speech about how they wont honour a warranty or something. so ive got oem bushes back in. car has 53500klm on the clock and definitely never been changed since new. car feels no different. in fact I heard a few knocks in the back on the way home. im preying that was a result of a boot full of stuff and the pin from my removable tow bar fell down into the spare tyre well, was rattling around freely. im going to keep them till I get enough cash up to have them replaced. 6mths will be their life in the car I reckon.

Dave: no, car doesnt have any factory warranty left. there's a dealer extended warranty for a Goldie dealership but states more than a few times that all services need to be done there.. Goldie is about 1600klm away so it's pretty much void. havent ruled out contacting them seeing if it's possible to transfer somehow. but they have no affiliation with any dealers up here (Townsville)

MiKa: yeah my car occasionally still knocks in the back, hasnt done it at all when I give it some stick but going over some small bumps knocks can he heard still. nothing substantial or really even noticeable. just when driving around on some of Townsville's lovely roads I'll hear a knock in the back.

Make sure your rear shock mounting bolts are really tight that can sometimes give you 'knocking' noises over bumps,
