It also transmits and receives GPS data if an accessory supports it as well as the accelerometer/gyro stuff. It's not noticeable or an issue until you get an accessory like the TomTom GPS Cradle which sends the phone GPS Data through the 30-pin, takes sound through the 30-pin and connects to Bluetooth for phone calls. I am going to buy one only because Microsoft haven't brought out there version of an iPod yet and I'm not too sure about the other Mp3 players that are out there.Also, due to the CD player not being able to play Mp3 CD's and due to owning a manual, installing an aftermarket CD player would only get in the way, it would seem that an iPod is my best bet.I don't get sucked into things easily. I've only ever owned Fords... I've had three before this XR6t.... I have never owned a manual or turbo before, although I have driven them.Ah, in that case, make sure you go for any iPod but the iPod Touch.
