Not sure where abouts you are mate.. But check the size of your bike vs. the back of the ute.. I can't fit a dirtbike in the back of the XR ute without leaving the tailgate down.. Rego for a trailer is fark all.. Ute rego is more expensive (in QLD anyway)..

In saying that I used my ute alot for work.. Until they decided work cars were cheaper.. And having a ute is priceless.. I don't think I could ever go back to not having one..

I had an FG turbo ute for 7 months. I wanted to get out of my BA, thought I would use a ute alot, etc. and it did come in handy, but in the end it wasn't worth it. I found it a pain day to day.

If my brother and I were going to work it in we had to put out laptops, lunches, etc. behind the seats which was a pain. In Melbourne traffic they are a pain to see out of - they make headchecks almost impossible, so being able to make a gap when changing lanes is very difficult, and they are even harder to park. I also found the wind noise from the back of the cabin/tray area almost unbearable. going from my brothers g6 to this it was like the cone of silence and a cargo plane!

In the end I decided 4 doors & day to day ease of use was more important.

Would still 'own it' up to 60 km/h :tease:

Limo will own an Fg F6 to 100, infact it will win in most situations until the F6 is modified.

How many times have you used the back seat/doors for their intended purpose?

If this answer outways the use a ute would get then the choice is simple....

to be honest I would love a ute purely for the live axle rear end giving the option of putting a 9 inch and 4 link in. useless for every thing else I need a car for though (kids, customers, etc)

Sent from my GT-I9100T using my right hand
