I was told today that the diff could be the weak link in the drive train.

I have replaced the clutch with a HD one so the only thing left is the tailshaft and the diff but I dont want to change them if I dont have to, especially considering the cost of them.

bump, is there anyone out their that makes a chromoly tailshaft for the fg sedan just off the shelf or are most people getting custom built ones? I know mal does some drivline stuff im just wondering if their are any other options...

well Paulie 2256907436590873465........... according to sams sig, he has ssl and sssl's in his ute lol!

so sam just get a stronger tailshaft made up dude! and axels! what staino said ^^

my shaft snapped on the dyno ramping up ..................................lottery a shaft,diff,trans and donk with modded power anything can happen any time

pff not my fault...

and is it the actual shaft twisting/snapping or the joints/yokes? As in should the uni joints ect be replaced if your going to the effort to change the shaft...
