As stated my LHS wheel sits further in and further forward then RHS wheel at the front of my bf xr6. I'm running coilovers and I had it aligned when they were installed so I don't know what the problem is. I'm not sure if it was like this before the coilovers as I've only just noticed it but it's quite obvious now. LHS sits about 12mm deeper. Could it be a bent control arm or something like that?

How low is the front? Do you have a copy of your alignment results? You might need a camber/caster kit so it can be set properly. There is only toe adjustment on the front..

You need a bit of caster difference left to right with the left being about 1deg forward of the right, this allows the car to run straighter. From the factory there might not be enough cross caster and may tend to steer to the left, this can be exaggerated by road camber. I know when I had mine lowered I ended up with 2.5 deg neg camber and to try and fix this and prevent inside tyre wear they added more toe which turns the wheel in giving the appearance of it being moved forward. As well if one side has more camber it will also look like it is further inside the guard, especially at the top.

Because there is limited adjustment they can only do the best they can with what they have.

In the end to get better alignment results I had to get camber and caster kit for the front and a camber kit for the rear. Now its as good as you can get with pretty even tyre wear.

This information has come from my suspension workshop's alignment guru.
