I had the choice of a 50th G6T or a 50th XR6T. Both side by side in the dealers. MMMM, do I go for the slutty one in white with tacky graphics or her classy cousin in blue. Nothing wrong with a tart, but I needed to move on.

Also different brakes now for the G6ET, than in the old model, all the turbo versions have different brakes than the series 1...

Ford site just listes them as 'performance'.

Well the dimensions of the rotors are the same on MkI and MkII and they both have 2-piston fronts and 1-piston rears. That leaves just the pads which could be different.

I wonder what a MK1 would look like with a MK2 upper grille? Surely they would be interchangeable??

*EDIT* nope, they're completely different... :banghead:

I've decided on a G6ET for pretty much the same reasons as other people. I like the Q car look rather then the sporty XR6T looks.

I'm deciding between white and silver ('I've had enough of washing black cars to last a lifetime)

I was gonig to get the new Smoke colour but I've had a look at one in the flesh today and you might as well get black for al lthe dirt that shows on it.
