Yeah sounds like the salesmen are just talkin sh*t. Essentially selling a car that's pretty much identical too the series one except looks like a territory lol

Looks like I have got the changes covered then.

BTW, the new sat nav is a breeze to use, I have had many different types over the years and need to use it numerous times every day (I do 35 000 city Kim's a year, mainly to new clients addresses) this is the best yet,

Also, not so sure power peddles is an option now??

Also, yes I had to point out the differences to the salesman at three different dealerships I visited getting quotes etc, was a bit disappointing they didn't know what updates had been made to their updated flagship!

This happens with most products now. Even at the doctors!(they hate the net, people must drive them mad)

You can search and get any info you want now days. I cant understand how these knobs in sales dont know there products!!! Spend an hour on the net and you have it nailed. They sit on the arse half the day anyway. Do some research!

That's one thing I learnt in Real Estate, you can't BS people these days. All it takes someone is 10 mins on real-estate.com and they know everything there is to know about a suburb and know exactly what a house is worth. Same in any industrie.

I think one out of about six salesmen new the FG had a smaller turbo, some would even argue the fact that it didn't.

Real Estate is certainly harder than car sales. The 3 new cars Ive bought over the last 5 years have been a piece of cake for the salesman. I do the research and go in and order it!! Will be able to buy them off the net soon.

Have I misssed something Dillz, whats with the green car? Why? And wheres the road in the clouds?

Swapped the limo for a manual XR in Dash and couldn't be happier. That's just a Ford promo pic for when the Fg's first came out.

I can't see it anywhere so I guess not.

I don't get that with car salesmen. In every other industry, especially retail, the golden instruction is "the customer is always right" and yet for car salesmen, they seem to need to argue with you. When I went with Dad several years back for a Kia Grand Carnival, we deliberately played dumb and then told them what they'd got wrong. Some of them took it on the chin and thanked us while others I think just needed to think they were right.

Maybe a decade ago you could fob off your knowledge to the consumer but these days, they need to treat the customer as a virtual knowledgebase for the vehicle. Most people probably do some form of research on the net before they go shopping now.

I told an apple genius he was wrong and telling people the wrong thing, he agreed and told me that's what they were told to say LO

Genius my arse

The occasional person at the dealer knows what's what, a couple I spoke to when I brought mine were switched on, a couple were complete fools and should not be anywhere near a new car they know nothing about.
