Wow, I'm not charging enough! $495 supply and fit with wheel alignment for forum members...Even our retail is $550!

lol.... and that is why we love you Pat !

But seriously, there is so much conflicting BS out there that people give you. Going at full retail prices, how can it jump from $595 to $900? I guess some people actually just pay it.

Alot of the variations can be directly related to a companies overheads - some of our trade customers are paying mega dollars for their workshop lease so they have no choice but to charge extra, then due to them being low on work due to being more expensive they then have to charge more again to make ends meet!

Sounds like a vicious cycle, but that's the industry we are in.

Others just try to make a million dollars off one deal...

Seriously though is lowering 10mm worth it?

For the cost and hassle you won't even notice it appearance wise

Get you factory springs cold compressed, it's not illegal like actual heated compressing them, it just might get you 5-10mm if your lucky

I do this when I have lowered springs fitted, it's basically like pre sagging them, so once installed the don't really settle after a week or two

Spoke to a mate today who is running SSL's all round with standard shocks. He's on his third set of front tyres (toyos) at just 65k. Had several alignments and keeps wearing the inners out. So going off that, it would appear you need camber kits if running those springs.

im running a bit lower than ssl's st the front, lets call them sssl's

I had stacks of camber at the front, 6mm of shims fixed it, now the front tyres still have the rubber knobs still on them, looks like they will last forever.... the rears though... :|
