Lovells, kings, pedders?

This is the recommendations and quotes that I have recieved.Company 1 - For their own brand of springs, quoted me $900 drive in drive out with wheel alignment for 4 springs, that would drop around 35 - 40mm. They then tried to upsell me to a full set of their own coil overs for $2,600 !!Company 2 - $595 drive in drive out with wheel alignment for 4 Kings springs, aiming at around 20mm to 22mm drop. Not sure if they are SL's all round, or SL up front and SSL in the rear.Company 3 - $800 and something for front and rear King springs with wheel alignment, drive in drive out. He didn't write down the quote, as he changed it to quoting for the rear springs only in the end. So it was $547.73 for SSL's rear springs (front stays at stock) but he included "BA Rear Bump Stops" in the price. Note, labour was $150 and wheel alignment front and rear was $110.Company 4 - SUPPLY ONLY - King Springs - Front SL's and Rear SSL's. $270 shipped to my door. I then need someone to fit and do a wheel alignment. So the price difference is massive. If I go along with lowering the car, as I'm still not sure, I will go with the supply only - Company 4, and have them fitted here and get a wheel alignment. Still cannot believe the price difference. Even if I get them supplied from Sydney, and paid $150 for fitting and $110 for a wheel alignment, I'm still better of by $65 !!

Yes, the prices seem all over the place. Went to Kings factory today. Looked at the catalogue before hand and noticed no 'SL' listed. They said you can still get them, but the most common is SSL fronts as people complained about them not lowering the car enough. They still recommend SSL rears however. This combo should come out at 345 - 350mm centre of hub to guard. So, about 20-25mm drop. The only thing I'm unsure of is the fronts. Probably will go with SL as I'd like the rake of the car to change from OEM. If I go the SSL's it will be the same - down at front and not level. All said, the two vary by 10mm.Keen for someone that has done the SSL and SSSL to do measure up and post.

Slightly lower and still have a light rake to it.

If changing them then no problem.
