Hey Rosie,

We recently got a couple of these at the company I work with.. Everyone has exactly the same complaint.. Even though they are pretty good once above about 10km/h..

Someone here was saying (But no idea how true this is), that ford may be attempting an improvement with a factory ECU re-flash that will be done at servicing. I'd be interested to confirm this though.

Congrats on the purchase I still think they are great cars.

I agree, a very good Car except for this!

I'll ask the question, but have never found my local Ford guys very helpful.

I will be ringing Herrod today to see where they are at.

Spoke to Herrod and they are a way off cracking the Territory ECU, as yet.

They are aware of the Throttle problem!

That's a common complaint in the Landrover world (as they run the same engine in the (Defenders and some Discovery's) Landrover guys have been flashing the pcm's for a while now. Most of the fixes seem too be around increasing the throttle blade angle @ low load/speed too get the turbo up on song quicker

Yep common complaint unfortunately its normal pcm calibrations may change things a little but its mostly turbo lag, unavoidable... And do NOT use bio diesel even though it says bio5 or 10 is ok stay away from the sh*t

Steinbauer make a plug in play set up that increases power and torque by 20% and have a unit that plugs into the pedal fly by wire taking out the flat spot.
