someone here stated that its priced around 90k. I didn't like HQ's glueing shakers onto their bonnets 10-20 years ago & I don't like DJ glueing engine cover mock-ups onto his big GT beastie.

It's hard for me to say that as I love DJ, we share birthdays an all.

Bang for buck, a T with 10-12 grand on it phase 4 type upgrade (600hp) will run rings around the roadrunner let alone any production car.

Scotty

;)

Only until you hit the speed limiter Scotty, while all along the auto will be living on hope and prayer. Anyway what about the CAPA super charger for the V8?. Like you I don't know if I fancy the bonnett add on

Great looking car Falchoon, thanks for the pics. :banghead:

l still cant see the value in at that price though. Then there is the question of warranty coverage, getting insurance (it was hard enough getting coverage on a TS50 as no one had heard of it) and resale, who knows!?

The bonnet thing would look ok if it wasnt painted to be so noticeable, good that its functional though.

Maybe at 75 grand, but not 90+

It's a bit like the question I asked in another thread about the Typhoon questioning it's value for money. A standard XR8 is ~$51000 + onroads (not including $7000 off RRP at my local dealer ATM if anyone wants a bargain!). Add Premium Sound (~$900), leather seats (~$2000), different spoiler kit (~$6000+?), 19" wheels (~$5000), Alcon brakes (~$9000), quad exhausts and whatever other bits and pieces Herrods/DJR whack on there. Still falls a bit short of $90K but I guess there is labour to be factored in as well as the "prestige" of owning a LE DJR car.
