Well I've swapped my KU31's to the rears, will try them out tomorrow on the drive to and from work and see if my memory of the KU31s is accurate or not. KU31's will be at most 38PSI.

Here's wear levels after 18,000km with some hard driving in there on a 120.8mph/194kmh falcon.

:)

I do lots of highway km (500km a week), but that means I get lots of sets of lights to boot it from too! Get about 450-500km a tank.

Initial reports are KU31's doing OK, but slipped a little earlier than invos, haven't had a proper go yet, will do on drive home.

Cornering is much better now though! If only the Invos were in stock when I needed a new set of treads.

Copy and paste from my showcase thread:

Well now I'm confused, gave the KU31's full WOT treatment twice to just before the posted 100 limit on 2 different sections of road, both slightly uphill and they did not spin up in first. Cornering is way more fun now that I have the invos on the fronts...very happy! Basically they hold on better before starting to squeal, gives more confidence even with far more km on them than the KU31's.

The invos aren't new so it's hard to call it a fair comparison, but I remember them losing traction when they were new, maybe that was on a colder night when I was making more power... I got slip when giving it a stab to about 50-60 in a 70 zone earlier this morning on flatter road, but giving it total hell this arvo was a different story. I would have thought uphill would be more prone to slip due to higher resistance?

What are other's findings with invos at the tread levels shown in my pics?

Had some 275/30/19 Invo's fitted last week. Off to WSID this Wednesday to hopefully get a much better 60" time. Have run a 12.1 on KU31's so see what happens.

Only prob now is I'll be reluctant to drop a big burnout

:3gears:

You don't actually need to do a big burnout. Just get the water off and get some heat into them and that's it, big burnouts can make your 60 ft and ET's worse.
