demon1300 Member 435 Member For: 12y 9m 19d Gender: Male Posted 13/02/12 11:03 AM Share Posted 13/02/12 11:03 AM I was in the exact same position last week OP, so hopefully I can shed some light on this topic Go easy on me boys, its my first post on these forums! So I've just bitten the bullet and brought an F6 this week after much deliberation. Payed exactly the same as what you've posted & the car was manual and in black. Only had 300km on the clock but really wasn't worried about that... Considering it also had the leather option, I'm happy with the price I paid (as it was drive away!). I also screwed the dealer a bit for things like tinted windows etc just to sweeten the deal. Now I look back at it, a guy at work recently paid 60 odd k for a hilux, so I'm pretty happy for my spend. Its a lot of car for the money imho.Like the guys above stated, get the F6! Its really no question once you hop in and drive them both. I've owned a few quick cars before and damn these things go good for a standard car off the showroom. They handle well, stop even better and are torquey mofos making them an absolute pleasure to drive! I too was wanting to purchase an XR6T which was why I went to this dealer, but managed to spot the F6 out of the corner of my eye.... Uhh ohh! lol I've never looked back. The overall finishing on the F6 is easily worth the extra price, I mean you get dual zone climate, leather (in yours and my case), brakes, body styling, premium sound, better turbo, injectors, exhaust etc... The list goes on. You can still make 400rwkw on these things with only a handful of aftermarket mods. The potential is def there.Don't worry about all the haters, buy one if you like them and don't worry about the consequences. I mean hell, if you run into problems or trouble you can always sell it! 55k is pretty cheap for teh performance/car that you getting, and remember that these run-out models are not going to be around for ever.... I got one as I didn't want to miss out completely on what I think is the most promissing engine combo that has ever been developed in Aus. Its days are def numbered, and I didn't want to wait around and miss out. Knowing my luck I would have had to buy a new one, and at something like 67+ on roads, they aren't cheap new!Hope this sheds some light for you Regards,Rob

I don't want to compromise on that. What is a good price on a runout deal?Is 50k too optimistic? 55k? cause I budgeted for a XR6T, I can't afford more.thanks, Edited 14/02/12 04:52 AM by urihsur_navap
Dillz Three pedals are better then two.. I didnt know they came in a bad Colour? Unless you mean the ugly Frog green... And even then in an FPV they still look great!
