Thanks for the kind words all :)

she's my baby and while in retrospect a house would have been a better investment, you only live once and it always brings a smile when that boost needle flicks to life.

Saw the colour on the showroom floor and thought it was black until the dealer said to take a closer look, blew me away when I saw it in sunlight for the first time. Pain to keep clean though!

Once the warranty runs out I will.

Bought a k&n filter however Ford advised if I put it in then engine warranty would go bye bye as I'm not a mechanic. Furthermore, if it fouled the TPS then same deal, no warranty.

I'm as scared of loosing warranty as the Mrs giving me hell, see I wasn't going to mod this one... hahahah

Long term I'd like to upgrade intercooler piping, intake, hi flow cat and a tune.... oh and a better sound system, premium sound isn't worth its salt.

Hopefully the end result would be a safe 300rwkw

Not sure how legit that is... I've had one in both my XR6T and the new F6, dealers haven't said boo. In fact, I am pretty sure that K&N provide a number for this reason... Just lie to the dealer and say you had a mechanic undo the screws and place the filter in the box. Very high tech stuff.

It went in for a new diff pinion seal today so will ask again when I pick it up.

I'm probably just being paranoid but the last thing I want to do is void warranty, especially when it comes to motors, turbos and drive train components. First time owning a new car so a bit overly cautious.

The warranty can only be voided on specific failures that directly relate to non-factory modifications. It's not a case of everything being voided if you change the air filter, but the throttle is a good example of what can be voided if you over-oil your filter and it fails as a result.

They try and scare/bluff their customers in to being good little minions and to just keep handing over the $s.
