Its been a while but I'm almost there , just a few more things to sort out .

Currently sitting in one of the spare bedrooms at home I have the following goodies.

Process West stg2 cooler kit and the 3inch elbow.

Process West surge tank

Process West 4inch race CAI

KPM 1000cc ( bosch ev14 ) injectors

Atomic H/D valve springs

Plazmaman battery relocation kit

Have placed a order with Mall Wood for his new OPTION 3 clutch ( superseding old one ) should be ready in the next week or so .

Deciding on Stainless or Mild CES exhaust ( going to see Trevor on monday and will be having one made ) .

Now this is were I'm stuck . Im about as switched on as a blown light bulb when it comes to doing something with the turbo . I know the standard turbo on the FG runs out of puff around 300-320rwks . ( I have a 2008 FG ) .

I am going to chase somewhere between 360-380rwkws with maybe one day trying for 400 . I also don't want the car to drive like a 2 stroke MX bike were its all or nothing , Or is that more to do with the way the car is tuned ?.

Can I modify the standard turbo to to reach these figures or do I need a new one ? If I do get a new one what should I be looking at ?, do I still the need to modify the waste gate and what pound acculator would I need or is that all gauged buy the amount of boost you will be running ?.

Any advice is welcome after all you have got me this far .

do what I have just done and find a new or second hand ported with bigger wastegate 35/40 with a 12psi actuator (bf turbo) and stick it on the fg, it bolts straight up after you rotate the front and rear housings a little all you have to do is modify the actuator bracket a little which isnt hard. After all that sell the fg turbo for around $1000 if its low km in good condition to cover majority if not all of the cost of the 35/40.

Car has 32 000klm on the clock , Is that a lot for a turbo ?.

Well there you go, I took it all literally. I thought you were an apprentice mechanic?

28 years ago I did work experience at Jefferson Ford in Melbourne , I spent 8hrs a day taking wheels of peoples cars so they could be balanced then put them back on and saw that much tyre shine that you will never see it in my garage ever. I lasted 3 days then told them to F*** Off . That was my apprentership . dose that count ?.
