lol..

I'm just giving valid info about this industry. I have said our primary focus is Fleets, not individuals.

Thanks for sharing. I've learnt a bit about these alarms now :)

Visit www.rojone.com.au I bought their GPS tracking system for 1200 a few years ago and $95 a year to access the dedicated tracking web site.

I can lock the car, disable the engine [when its stationary] and has movement sensors all commands are done via sms and many other options available. I have set the tracker to do what I want not interested on people who say ''nar mate you cant do this or that.

At the time I bought mine they were manufactured in AU.

I think its one of the better systems and still can be expanded to do more.

Sounds good but where is the AU supplier? I reckon for these gadgets your better off staying local.

I actually bought four of them secondhand a while ago via eBay UK. Cost me around $A320 delivered for the lot. Figured they wouldn't be available secondhand regularly, so bought a bunch while I could. Haven't done anything with them yet, but have read on other forums where people have spoken highly of them.

Next week I'll be seeing the guy that does fitting work for the place above, so will ask if these things are worth installing.

Philmeup, were they the T22 that you got second hand? Do you have any spare left over?

I found someone who was selling a bunch of them on eBay UK about six months ago, so bought four. I'll put one in my taxi, one in my girlfriend's taxi and the two spares will be for future extra taxis or personal cars.

They seem to be pretty common in the UK. It would be worth doing regular searches on eBay UK and US.

I want to put an alarm in my FG and was thinking of adding a Ford Factory alarm. Does anyone know where the plug is located in the vehicle to plug in and install the alarm and does it need to be programmed into the car. Or should I be installing a aftermarket alarm??

Just like the cost of GPSs have decreased significatly in the last few years, these GPS trackers will be cheap as chips very soon.
