Are they changing the rules though or is it still all the same stuff just with a different body and team setup on the suspension etc?

I read somewhere Nissan is bringing their own engine into it.. Something about modifying their current V8 pootrol engine or something..

I am told the fords and Holden's are running the exact same power train at the moment so that might shake it up a bit.

Nothing too exciting. Mercedes or AMG as a company doesn't have any involvement. It's just a Mercedes badged car.

They're all going to be rolling on the same control chassis anyway.

Will still be good to see 4 different body types out there, sorta like NASCAR

All chassis suspension gearbox diff all the same control, different body's will look like the real car all 4 manufacturers will have their own engine ford and Expensive Daewoo will continue to use their engine's they are using now both 5 litre push rod motors ,while Nissan and merc will use 5 litre overhead cam motors. parity will be equal to ensure close competition

Still think its a good idea Adam, and say SBR do well, could mean the big boys of Merc might want to invest in the project and have a Offical Mercedes team.

Your a hard man to please Adam. In my opinion, more manufacturers the better. Ive always supported SBR since David Besnard started in the DVS series for them. Im more then happy to be supporting the Mercs.

As much as its only a badge and little to none support from AMG or Mercedes, I believe that will change.

I really hope that the Vodafone sponsorship joins the Mercs.

So how long till GRM announces it will be ruinning Chrystler 300C's?

Never said I wasn't happy with it. It's just not going to revolutionize the sport like some would have you believe.

More interest and more manufacturers contributes to securing the sports future. The badge on the front means nothing to me. After all I'm still a Triple 8 fan.
