Something about modifying their current V8 pootrol engine or something..I am told the fords and Holden's are running the exact same power train at the moment so that might shake it up a bit.

Mercedes or AMG as a company doesn't have any involvement. It's just a Mercedes badged car. They're all going to be rolling on the same control chassis anyway. In my opinion, more manufacturers the better. Ive always supported SBR since David Besnard started in the DVS series for them. Im more then happy to be supporting the Mercs. As much as its only a badge and little to none support from AMG or Mercedes, I believe that will change.I really hope that the Vodafone sponsorship joins the Mercs. So how long till GRM announces it will be ruinning Chrystler 300C's? It's just not going to revolutionize the sport like some would have you believe. More interest and more manufacturers contributes to securing the sports future. The badge on the front means nothing to me. After all I'm still a Triple 8 fan.
