All,

Currently looking to upgrade wheels and tyres on the G6ET to something more reasonable (and less Triangle brand!) currently has stock 18's and stock suspension.

I do not plan on lowering it, only suspension work will be decent shocks and bushes, perhaps quality springs effective only to standard height.

I am trying to work out what it possible to get under the guards front and rear and what offset will be required.

I am not looking for 'stance', stretched tyres, tyres sticking out of the guards or any other new age fad, I just want to put as much good quality rubber on as light and fat rims as possible.

Is a 295/35 on 18x10.5 with a +27 offset going to work at the back? or will I need to drop back to 285/35 on 18x10 at +30 or further still.

How about the fronts, are 265's on an 18x9.5 possible?

Knowledge and input greatly appreciated.

Cheers,

Lumpy

Carbonart are making a part that will allow an 11" wheel to fit in the gaurds.

Haha.

Ild just poke it. Or poke a 12" for that matter.

Yes, yes...this has already been established many times at cruises and amongst these fabled pages.

However, obvious fact above aside, anyone game to give a max width and offset and still come within the guards without the need for ridiculous camber?

Cheers,

Lumpy

I have a BF and I run 18x9.5 +30 ( with 5mm spacer) and 265/35's on the front, So I don't see why you couldn't go bigger on a FG. I would think you could fit 18x10 +18 or +20 allround.
