Shyfrd Turboless Donating Members 5,992 Member For: 13y 8m 29d Gender: Male Location: Geelong, Victoria Posted 19/03/12 09:19 AM Share Posted 19/03/12 09:19 AM alright so I finally changed my lights over to 35w on the weekend prior to oscars fight.installed them yesterday and everything went smoothly, piece of cake to install!however there seems to be a different pattern of light and a bit of different colour (right a bit more yellow than left and not as blinding when looking at it from infront..not straight out infront, stand up more until the actual globe is shining in your eyes..). usually left hand light is aimed left a bit more and that's from factory as safety yada yada..but mine seems to have a large triangle it just doesnt light up.also when I changed over from 55w to 35w and looms etc, he didnt straight up change to a whole new box, just changed bits n pieces. dont recall him changing globes but may have forgotten.just after opinions n what your guys lit up area is like, colour of globes etc..this is the triangle on the far left that's not lit up at all. yes the right has a similar shape but its way bigger on the left opposed to that on the right.this was a reflection of the lights at safeway when I pulled up after driving for a good hr. no tint on either panels. just a straight up reflectionheres some install pics as to where ive put the ballasts. just used to velcro, 2 stripes (1 fury, 1 rough strip) on each ballast and car body. aint going nowhere..cheers. Clearly yours needs to move out wider. The pattern on the road looks pretty average at the moment, might not be that bad as photos make it look worse. Heaps easy to deal with and ship's pretty quick (think I had mine in 2-3 days). I'll PM you his details.My high beams (H7's) are Phillips Diamond Vision 5000K which I got from eBay for $32 deliveredbtw when you contact Alex for the HID's ask if he can do the same prices he does for pickup. Shyfrd Turboless Donating Members 5,992 Member For: 13y 8m 29d Gender: Male Location: Geelong, Victoria Posted 28/03/12 06:35 AM Share Posted 28/03/12 06:35 AM lol when u email him make sure u tell him u want the smaller ballasts and seperate loom for each light. if not ull end up with the same package I got, big ballasts and one looms that needs to go over the radiator..waited ti l I got my licence back and swapped it over, he was happy to replace it. man he can talk though...fmd lolbtw my lights, everytime I drove at night I went and looked at the lights afterwards cos it was pissing me off..couldnt find a thing wrong with them. drove to work last friday and had a look at smoko, and fark me, the drivers side light was pointing up LOL :banghead: anyway theyre still giving out different colour from each globe so this weekend while im passing thru melbourne ill pop by and swap them over.still love the lights, so much more light on the road!also agree with goliath, the white lights for interior are ace. even the centre light replaced and lights up a beauty at night the light around the key also done, easy as to replace. blue atm but got white globes to put in soon. some people say the white gives a cold feeling to the car, but I much rather white than yellow!
