Doesn't sound weird at all.

Stock mine went 279rwkw in Mackay. Then went 266rwkw in Sydney.

Some dynos read low, some high and others ridiculous.

A mate has a built ba, supposedly only 320rwkw. Mine has 350rwkw why are they so close/even when we race?

I have the same mods a others with 400rwkw, why do I have 350? My tuner says no stock turbo(gt3582r) has gone near 400rwkw on his dyno on pump 98 and id need a turbo upgrade. Why is mine even when racing a 400rwkw mate? What about old mate with 320 vs 400mate?

Some people don't even do hp runs when they tune.

Mph is the true indication

My xr6t has been on 4 diffetent dynos showing variations of up to 30rwkw.

Dynos are just a tuning tool & of course great marketing.

I remember when my vt ls1 was street tuned, I did 12.9 @109mph at wsid.

Power on 2 different dynos was showing 211- 221rwkw which was quite low compared to the mph.

The true test is on the track.

Post up the dyno sheets. Edit out the workshop names if you want to avoid the sh*t fight..

Something is not right. All been equal you wouldn't expect that big of a difference, maybe 10-15kw but

over 40?

Surely you'd feel the difference between 300+ and 260? If in fact there has been a loss!

I went from one shop to another and saw 60rwkw's difference.....

Recently I had my car tuned at a reputable tuner in Sydney my car consist of.

2005 ba

Atomic valve springs,

walbro pump,

x-force s/steel dump + cat,

removed middle muffler,

avo cooler,

rapid intake,

60lbs injectors

Now the car is running 15psi consistently no spiking or anything.

Final power when tuned was 306rwkw I paid $770 for the tune! & $770 to install the springs!

I now take it for a check up at another shop and get told its pulling 259rwkw with alright afrs and low timing!!!! WTF

Bid difference from initial dyno!

Now I don't want to start a sh*t fight I know dynos are a tunning tool and quarter mile is where the numbers come out but really such a difference. Both dynos were dyno dynamics!

I feel a bit ripped off! Also 15psi with those mods & only 259rwkw

Please please anyone voice your opinion :)

what was the other shop like? My ute was making 446rwkws on my tuners dyno took it to a dyno comp and went 380rwkws, then a month or so later went to another dyno comp and went 455rwkws lol, dont read too much into it there are alot of variables, how the car is strapped down, air temps, operator etc, get it down the strip and your mph will tell the true stroy....

a higher power figure at one shop doesn't always equate to a stronger quicker tune a good example of this is my mate Micks BF sedan, was being tuned at a well known perth tune shop wont mention names and made 365rwkws and after a few runs at the strip the best he managed was a 12.2 @ 119mph so he went to XFT for a power run and had all sort of dramas, detonation, rich as fark afr's and overboosting (22psi @ 3000rpm - stock motor) so Simon retuned no other mods and went 340rwkws @ 15psi, first and only pass at the drags went 11.4 @ 124mph :)
