FORDCRAZY Member 36 Member For: 13y 6m 19d Posted 03/02/12 03:16 PM Share Posted 03/02/12 03:16 PM I'm currently using Monza cooler and as most know they flow well but coooling not so good, I'm running standard piping. I've got actuator full exhaust inj fuel pump etc... At 12psi tune Monza seemed ok but now that I'm tuned @14psi intake temps too high and sacrificing torque, I've read alot of the post here on PW, plazmaman, rapid, nizpro intercoolers, and although alot of ppl seem to be more concerned about looks of ic, I really couldnt care less, as I'm a believer of function over fashion. Can anyone give a good reason based on performance ie flow and cooling as to which cooler they find to perform the best. All kits apply due to that I'm planning on changing piping. Both are tried and tested just have to decide which one you want and future mods you are going to do.

Might be a coincidence, might not?Work out whether you want bar and plate or tube and fin, should make the decision a bit easier.

Bar and Plate durability good capacity, and I also like inlet postioning, and core thickness. Although, I think it may be a little to big for 300rwkws.Very good for 500-600 rwhp. Aslo I'm not sure whether the vehicle requires cutting. Cheers BA/BF Nizpro 475mm x 430mm x 80mm = 16340 cm3
