Looking at around 360 - 380rwkws . My car is a 2008 fg with 32 000 klms . And yes the surge tank has a single pump.

stock intank pump will be fine if its in good order, but make sure you change the inline filter regularly and perhaps inspect the intank filter to make sure its all sweet

Hey fellas, just a quick question. Car won't run!

Installed good (to my knowledge), cranked her over and sh*t started purring. 10 seconds later turned off (ran outta fuel).

Wont start now :/

I can hear what I think is the pump working when I turn the key to acc. but its like a start up then stops.....

suggestons?

so you can hear the pump prime just before you start the car, did you prime it a few times and try again? And when you installed the new intank hose you didnt do any fancy loops or anything that can kink? I was specifically told not to loop just cut a piece the same length as the stock plastic lines...

nope no fancy loops. just a piec about 20cm or so long that goes from A to B.

I did try to "prime" it a few times but not luck :/

I sort of get the feeling you've got a link in the hose mate. That's what happened to me. Or the clamps (efi) that you used to clamp the hose to the pump case has popped off. I used a lot of trial and error with the submersible pump until I got the hose perfect without kink.

It must be a kinked line or a dodgy pump. Take it out and have a look. Is the filter pickup blocked?
