Just had a look on carsales at some cheap Xr6 turbo's, there are a few BA's around the 11-12k mark, very soon these cars will be under the 10k mark.

Being a powerful and cheap car, how long is it before these cars become the next bogan cars(if they are not already!)?

Can see more bogans in xr6t's speeding, doing burnouts, agressively tailgating etc and crashes, writeoff's, stolen cars and insurance premiums going up!

Seen it coming for a while now, good excuse to get out of a B series maybe?

Have been for a while, but the true die hards will buy there commodores no matter what the $$$.

Eg vs-vts still change hands for 10-15k. Can't be that bright.

But I just got into one :(

Yeah my mechanic mate reckons they're the new skylines now for 17-20 year olds. Cheap to get and put out some decent power.

I actually bought a crapper VT Late model camira wagon (didnt like the AU wagons) to put the surfboards, dog, do towing in and go camping in. I could not believe the what the insurance ,was it was close to what I was paying for x6t worth almost 4 times as much!

being a wagon I thought it was loose the bogan commowhore vibe, I was wrong!

The only saving grace is the performance restrictions for p-platers in most states...but yeah it's certainly getting that way.

Don't buy an F series then. The same thing will happen to them in a few years too.

XR6T's are already the Hoons car of choice according to the governments Hoon handbook. However there will always be an abundance of white commodores with faded tail lights with an arm out the window flying the bogan flag.
