You can get xcal 3 cheaper but the tune price is what you would pay as a first timer at the best tuners in melb simply because they spend more time with the car. Even 4-6 hours on the dyno.

If the the price of that tune came out of a well known and reputable tuner in Sydney then it's correct.

If you are paying 500 for a custom tune then it may have not been very custom. 1-2 hours dyno time.

I know who will be doing your tune for sure this time and you wont be disappointed with spending the $900 I wasnt and so have heaps of others on the forum.

and that's on top of the x3 price!

that would have to be just about the most expensive tune in sydney.

Believe me its far from the most expensive in Sydney. Its middle of the road. The old saying you pay peanuts you get monkeys!!!

Isn't one place $2000 for an xcal and tune. Now that's seems ridiculous.

UBA, go somewhere else to get it done you are getting ripped off to the max 7k for all that! its at least 2k overpriced

some people pay $500 or $600 for a tune that may be done in an hour or 2, others may pay $900 (up to $1100) but the car is on the dyno for most the day.

+1. Get what you pay for in life (generally speaking).

Second quote looks much better than no 1.

ps: Some times self-help/effort can assist when making a decision - clearly K&N is overs for example.....
