BA XR6 TURBO QUOTE

The Exhaust system is $2750 fitted, which involves removal of your std system, fitment of the Turbo back system & modifying the Turbo heat shield to suit. The exhaust system is constructed of 304 stainless steel, it has a 4” dump pipe and hi flow catalytic converter & 3.5” from the cat back.

Upgraded Valve spring & retainer set are $495 plus $770 to fit as this is a very Labour intensive job.

The upgraded Turbo actuator is $185 plus $350 to fit

Upgraded high flow Bosch fuel injectors ($120 each) are $720 plus $240 to fit

The only other essential upgrades before commencing the dyno tune is to upgrade the factory fuel system. We can supply and fit a genuine Walbro 550Hp fuel pump which will ensure consistent fuel delivery and avoid any dangerous lean out conditions that can cause serious damage to engine internals. To supply and fit a Walbro fuel pump is $360.

ECU tune is a complete Custom Dyno Tune carried out by re-flashing your standard ECU and making it fully programmable. This is the only guaranteed way to get the most reliable power, torque & drivability there is out of your car, whilst still maintaining all of the factory safety features. We tune from full power to cruise & everywhere in between, modifying fuel, ignition, boost, VVT, throttle mapping and many other engine control parameters. Other workshops just “Flash” your car without putting it on the Dyno and hope for the best! This is a very risky option as critical engine parameters are not checked to ensure they are within safe limits. The ECU tune is priced at $1195- irrespective of how long it takes to achieve the desired results as the car is often on the Dyno for 3-4 plus hours to get everything 110% spot on

With these mods you should see around 50-60Kw Power increase & around 60% increase in torque!

Total $7065

If I was you I would source the parts yourself and get whatever tuner to fit them, you will save heaps doing it that way. Where are you based? what car ba-bf or fg?

Also my valve springs were $ 395 for the springs and $550 to fit.

Depends on what brand everything is really..

If they are installing an Xforce exhaust, then obviously its way overpriced, but if its a CES than they are a fairly expensive exhaust in the first place... Vsprings could be done cheaper, injectors IMO seem expensive get a set of siemens and $240 to fit?? Does the tune include an X3? if not then its a bit on the expensive side..

Who's the quote from?

as above comments, injectors seem expensive? dekka 60s are about 350+- a set of six brand new(non installed)

some performance sites list package prices, you can always compare with those to begin with and ask other reputable shops

Parts seems alright but labour seems steep, your spending that much you wouldn't expect to pay the off the street walkin price. See if you can work something out with them.
