I have discovered that my engine bay is forming black dust. Belt fibres no doubt.Anyone know if this is a common fault ? if so what is the cause ?for my engine has only done 30000 clicks with no pulley mods.Any thoughts would be great thank you . Mainly trying to avoid the costly process of elimination.

If it's a weekender they do suffer a bit when sitting idle for long periods of time..

I have never seen a tensioner faulty other than bearing noise and iv been workin on them since their release every day lol
