Correct lol. If I was Chris, I'd say you can take it 90kms to nizpro for servicing whilst your at it.

We're pretty lucky in QLD because most of the shops get on. I know a few people that have had a couple do different things - no probs. That said, I've stayed loyal to Hi-Torque and they're the only shop that's played with my car. If anything was to go wrong, they know nobody else has fiddled with it. I think that loyalty means they also take pride in the car - it's in their stable. My point is Jack, if you swap back and forth you'll lose that. If it were me, I'd stay at bluepower given you want them to continue doing work on it.

Believe me my preference is to stay at Bluepower. Chris and Theo are well aware of this. They have been phenomenal to say the least throughout this. I cannot stress that enough.

What I am trying to do is make the best of what I would describe as an odd situation.

Bluepower have so far done all of the 'negotiating' on my behalf, to end up here. They have been and are very supportive of this. It's not ideal but it'll do.

If your motor pops after a week, who do you go back too?

If the tranny slips, is it 100% covered. I was under the impression there's zero warranty from them.

Only thing I can say is what Nizpro have done is disgusting and probably should have given you the warranty terms in writing before hand.

If it was me I would have told them where to shove their warranty. On top of that, good luck with them actually upholding any kind of warranty at all.

As everyone above me said.. Seems ridonkulous.. Especially to redo the engine tune? That makes zero sense to me.

The car has done over 100k now so that is something that should be noted. I can't expect anyone to tune the car with 100k on the clock and expect them to wear the loss of a motor that is 4.5 years old. Has been raced and runs 18psi everyday of its life. That is stretching the friendship.

The trans has no warranty, of any kind if Bluepower fit it. They aren't willing to wear the loss of a ZF at 7k if it goes wrong. Mind you, I wouldn't either. Put yourself in my position, having already spent the money. All I want is a good result for my car. Nothing else :)

Jack, I feel for you mate but the above statement is just bullsh*t.

If they cannot warrant a 7k box with one of their awesome billet shafts but others can with a treated standard shaft then to me it is not worth 7K.
