Beauty of a built motor you can start at a 14lb actuator!

New Turbo on order to!

8lbs will be fine mate as long as you don't want to go over say 18lbs!

Hey Matty! Sorry I missed this one... New turbo? What are you going for? I can't believe I missed it...

And with regard to not running more than 18psi I think that is a good compromise with the stock engine still in place. If the car sees a built motor at some stage then maybe more boost. Right now... I know, I know famous last words... I can't see myself pushing well in to the 400rwkw zone with this car. In my head it'll just start breaking stuff and then become a really expensive excercise rather than just an expensive one haha.

New Turbo! Well this will be the 1st of it's kind and I've been offered to do some data logging and back to backs with it and then I still have the decison not to buiy it!

Will essentially look the same as what I have now, still 3540 frame and low mount but should yeild 80 - 100 rwkws more on same boost!

I'll keep you posted.

Also keen to see how yours progresses!

Now thinking about trutrack myslef too!

And FG50T thanks mate! It's back at BPR today and tomorrow for the exhaust and TrueTrac! Perhaps 16psi too... hehe can't wait!

Theo came down to my work today to collect my car. It does help that I work only a couple of minutes from the workshop.

Me being a complete knob still don't have the locknut for the wheels... it's at my brake guys house doh.gif once that was sorted through, the TrueTrac has been fitted with the wheels still on the car. Disconnect brake lines etc... not the easiest way of doing it. But the BPR boys are troopers! When faced with a knob customer like me they just negotiate their way around it and still get the job done!

Here is the diff assembly, wheels and all yelrotflmao.gif now fitted with Harrops finest and CAT600's bushes.

It will be fitted back to the car tomorrow morning. The back part of the exhaust will be fitted too. Due to having a brand spanking new diff, bearings etc the car will be returned to me to do a 1000km run in period to bed in the bearings in the diff. Theo has told me I'll get a tune with a 3000rpm limit lol.gif clearly they don't trust me... yelrotflmao.gif

I'll then head back after 2 weeks (which is 1000kms for me) and they will complete the tuning on the car with 2 wheel drive.

1000km. You can do that in a day mate..lol.... All good things take time..

Indeed!

I will be allowed to drive the car for no more than 1 1/2 hours at a time with a minimum of 45 minutes inbetween driving it again.

For 2 weeks... good things had better come to those who wait!!!! haha

The car will make what it makes really.

With the stock motor in place I think 16psi is around the limit I'd like to see. Though once again the car will say when it's had enough and when and where it makes best power/torque. It'll be a matter of how much timing the car will take at x boost level with the exhaust fitted.

I'm looking for something over 350rwkw and then anything else after that is a bonus.
